W B Yeats

W.B. Yeats (1865-1939) was an Irish poet and playwright born in Sandymount, Ireland. A key figure in 20th-century literature, he was instrumental in the Irish literary revival and was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1923. Yeats spent his later years in Menton, France, where he passed away.
