Seneca

Seneca (4 BC – 65 AD) was a prominent Roman philosopher, statesman, and playwright born in Corduba, present-day Spain. He is known for his contributions to Stoic philosophy and his influential works in tragedy. Seneca spent much of his life in Rome, where he became an advisor to Emperor Nero before his forced suicide.
