Rabindranath Tagore

Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941) was a Bengali poet, playwright, and philosopher born in Kolkata, India. He is renowned for his contributions to literature and music, becoming the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913. Tagore's works reflect his deep engagement with themes of spirituality, nature, and humanity. He spent his entire life in Kolkata, where he also passed away.
