Patricia Highsmith

Patricia Highsmith (1921-1995) was an American author born in Fort Worth, Texas. She is best known for her psychological thrillers, including the acclaimed "Strangers on a Train" and the Tom Ripley series. Highsmith spent her later years in Locarno, Switzerland, where she continued to write until her death.
