Mary Shelley

Mary Shelley (1797-1851) was a British author, best known for her groundbreaking novel "Frankenstein." Born in Somers Town, she spent her later years in Chester Square. Shelley's work has had a lasting impact on literature and is considered a cornerstone of Gothic fiction.
