Joseph Brodsky

Joseph Brodsky (1940-1996) was a Russian-American poet and essayist born in Saint Petersburg, Soviet Union. He received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1987 and later became a U.S. citizen, spending his final years in Brooklyn, New York.
