John le Carré (1931-2020) was a British author born in Poole, England. He is renowned for his espionage novels, which often explore themes of betrayal and moral ambiguity. Le Carré's works, including "The Spy Who Came in from the Cold," have garnered critical acclaim and have been adapted into numerous films and television series. He passed away at the Royal Cornwall Hospital.
