Gerald Brenan

Gerald Brenan (1894-1987) was a British author born in Sliema, Malta. He spent much of his life in Spain, where he wrote extensively about the country's culture and history. Brenan is best known for his works on Spanish life and his influential memoirs. He passed away in Alhaurín el Grande, Spain.
