Friedrich Engels

Friedrich Engels (1820-1895) was a German philosopher, social scientist, and political theorist born in Barmen, in the Kingdom of Prussia. He is best known for his collaboration with Karl Marx and for his influential works on socialism and communism. Engels spent the latter part of his life in London, where he continued to write and advocate for social change.
