Edith Wharton

Edith Wharton (1862-1937) was an American author born in New York City. She is renowned for her novels exploring the lives and morals of the American upper class. Wharton received the Pulitzer Prize for her novel "The Age of Innocence" in 1921. She passed away in Saint-Brice-sous-Forêt, France.
