Edgar Allan Poe

Edgar Allan Poe (1809-1849) was an American author born in Boston and known for his contributions to the genres of horror and mystery. He spent much of his life in Baltimore, where he produced influential works such as "The Raven" and "The Tell-Tale Heart."
