Carson McCullers

Carson McCullers (1917-1967) was an American author born in Columbus, Georgia. She is known for her poignant explorations of loneliness and human connection in works such as "The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter" and "Member of the Wedding." McCullers spent her later years in Nyack, New York, where she continued to write until her death.
