Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (1900-1944) was a French writer and aviator, born in the 2nd arrondissement of Lyon. He is best known for his novella "The Little Prince," which has become a classic of world literature. Saint-Exupéry died in 1944 over the île de Riou during a reconnaissance mission in World War II.
