Algernon Blackwood

Algernon Blackwood (1869-1951) was a British author born in Greenwich. He is renowned for his supernatural fiction and is considered one of the most significant writers of ghost stories in the English language. Blackwood spent his later years in Beckenham, where he continued to write and influence the genre.
